Brown is a Senior Managing Director of Centerline Capital Group (“Centerline”), a subsidiary of Centerline Holding Company (OTC:CLNH), and head of the CMBS and Commercial Products division of the Commercial Real Estate Group. Mr. Brown is responsible for overseeing the commercial products origination and buy-side commercial lending activities. Mr. Brown came to Centerline in May 2008 after serving as president of the Nomura Real Estate Finance Group, the origination and banking platform of Nomura Credit & Capital, Inc., a subsidiary of Nomura Holdings, Inc. Mr. Brown joined Nomura's Real Estate Finance group in 2001 as a founding member. Prior to that he was with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette/Credit Suisse where he was responsible for high-yield CMBS new issue debt and a member of the commercial mortgage credit committee. Mr. Brown is a certified public accountant and for 12 years specialized in real estate accounting, auditing, tax and consulting services. He maintains his membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He earned a BS from William Paterson University.
